Every shoot begins with a story, and every story begins with a character.

Before there’s a set, a lens, or a light, I have to know who’s at the center of it—who they are, what they want, and what moment they’re caught inside. Sometimes the story starts with them; sometimes it starts with the situation that finds them.

That’s where tone, light, and composition come from—the choices we make to tell the truth about a person, a product, or a place. From Dallas Market Center to Spark, every project has been a new cast, a new world, and a new way of making fiction feel like memory.

REFLECTION

Photo art direction taught me to see people as both subjects and storytellers.

It’s not about capturing perfection—it’s about shaping atmosphere around emotion.

Every shoot is a small act of empathy: deciding what deserves light, what can stay in shadow, and how both together make the image breathe.
